Fig.8 - The galaxy NGC 7331 in the constellation Pegasus on October 23 & 27, 2011. Five 8 minute exposures and four 15 minute
exposures at ISO 1600 were combined in Deep Sky Stacker and further image processing was done in Photoshop. The image doesn't
really show what's possible with a total exposure time of 1 hour and 40 minutes - severe light pollution and camera noise at
ISO 1600 (amplifier glow, banding, general noise) made the post-processing difficult. Equipment: Canon EOS 20Da camera, TeleVue
coma corrector, Zambuto 16" f/5 quartz optics in a Dieter Martini dobsonian telescope, dual-axis Tom Osypowski equatorial
platform, Lacerta MGEN autoguider, Teleskop-Service off axis system TS-OAG9 EOS.
