The galaxy NGC 7331 in the constellation of Pegasus on October 23 & 27, 2011. Five 8 minute exposures and four 15 minute exposures at ISO 1600 were combined in Deep Sky Stacker & Photoshop and further image processing was done in Photoshop. The image doesn't really show what's possible with a total exposure time of 1 hour and 40 minutes - severe light pollution and camera noise at ISO 1600 (amplifier glow, banding, general noise) made the post-processing difficult. Equipment: Canon EOS 20Da camera, TeleVue coma corrector, Zambuto 16" f/5 quartz optics in a Dieter Martini dobsonian telescope, dual-axis Tom Osypowski equatorial platform, Lacerta MGEN autoguider, Teleskop-Service off axis system TS-OAG9 EOS.
