Lots of sunspots
August 10, 2024, 2024: An image of the Sun, taken on August 10, 2024, has been added to the Lucky Imaging Gallery. It shows the highest number of sunspots since 2001. The image was taken with an ASI 178MM camera and a 65 mm f/6.5 Quadruplet refractor. Theimage was colorized in Adobe Photoshop.

A crescent moon
March 6, 2024: An image of the moon, taken on February 13, 2024, has been added to the Lucky Imaging Gallery. The image has been taken with an ASI 2600MC camera and an 8-inch (20 cm) f/5 ONTC Newtonian reflector on an equatorial platform. The changing light during dusk made the processing rather difficult.
