Kaplani (Καπλάνι) in the Natural History Museum of the Aegean on Samos, Greece. The leopard is said to have been killed on the island in 1862. Its size, shape and coat colour is rather unnatural for a leopard, but may have been altered in the process of taxidermy. It is possible that a leopard reached the island by swimming across the 1.7 km wide channel from the Turkish coast.
